Appliances like the NutriBullet make eating healthier a lot easier, more fun, and hassle free. But, as these items are rather high on the price front, I understand why some people are nervous to make that type of financial commitment to something they don’t necessarily know that much about!

Enter the Kambrook Smart Life range, available at Clicks from November this year. I was asked to demo the Super Blender for the media at the Christmas with Clicks event a few weeks back and I can safely say this is going to be on the top of everyone’s christmas list. The Super Blender is Kambrook’s version of the NutriBullet, but it comes in at nearly a third of the price, a VERY desirable difference. Pure Good is all about making healthy choices accessible to EVERYONE not just the lucky few who can afford them, so we were very very very excited to see what it was all about!

I was given the blender to try out for a week and I was incredibly impressed. It was just as strong as my NutriBullet, dare I say even a little stronger? Plus it came with so many handy extras, I was left a little sad when I came home after the demo to realise I did not have them anymore!

The Super Blender comes with FOUR ‘jugs’, two smaller ones and two large ones. Two blade attachments, one for blending and the other for grinding (did someone say nut butters?), plus a whole selection of different lids, including a handy travel mug lid AND a strainer lid, which is fantastic if you have the fear of pulp and great for making kid friendly juices.

I used the time I had to show the media how versatile the Super Blender was and made 4 different dishes, with no real cleaning in between…  all in about 20 minutes! Safe to say the Super Blender was top of all the media’s Christmas Lists after that!

A few other really exciting Smart Life items soon to be hitting Clicks…a Yogurt Maker AND Dehydrator! Excitement all around!!!!

Pina Colada Ice Cream

3 cups frozen pineapple

1 can coconut milk or cream

Handful of mint

Xylitol/Stevia/Honey if wanting to make it sweeter

Be sure that you have your blades on tight, then run the Super Blender for about 3 seconds, remove the cup, shake it or tap it on the counter, and repeat 2-3 more times.
You want to mix things up just enough to blend the ingredients without liquefying them, so don’t over blend. If you mixture is not coming together you can add a little coconut milk in between blends.
Serve as is, or topped with some dried pineapple and coconut flakes.
