Christina Mallion is one such customer. She has a taste for fitness, green food and a generally healthy lifestyle. Content Creator by day, Crossfitter by night, this woman is serious about consuming only the best to keep her energy levels up throughout the day.
I chatted to Christina to find out what she loves about Pure Good and healthy eating:
Hi Christina! Thanks for taking the time to chat to us. Can you tell us a bit about how your daily habits have been improved since Pure Good set up shop at GetSmarter?
My favourite meal of the day is breakfast. I love being able to have eggs cooked to order or a fresh juice – it all really sets me up for a productive day. With Pure Good, it’s really easy to stick to a healthy lifestyle. The menu is so varied, I never get bored. Even when I do feel like a cheat meal, the smoothies and date balls are the perfect way for me to combat sugar cravings without giving up on clean eating.
What’s your favourite item on the menu?
I’m really struggling to choose! I think I would have to say the omelet. You have the option to make it your way, adding in the toppings you like to make it the perfect breakfast. Personally, I love spinach, feta, pepperdews, pesto and toasted seeds but I also love the breakfast omelette specials where Pure Good design ones for us.
Have your previous misconceptions of what is “healthy” changed since Pure Good has been around?
I’ve always believed in eating healthy – the problem has just been that it’s difficult to find healthy substitutions. What I love most about Pure Good is that they put the healthy options first – those are the meals that are subsidised or on special. For my busy schedule, it’s been awesome to have access to healthy food whenever I need it.
What’s your guilty pleasure menu item?
It would definitely have to be the Nutin’ But Yum smoothie. It is packed with peanut butter and it is so delicious. I do always ask for it with almond milk which makes it a bit lighter.
