Customer Crush: Ian Simpson

If you’ve been following our social media over the years, you would have seen this familiar face pop up on our Instagram numerous times. #CustomerCrush Quite frankly we’ve always said people should be a little more like Ian, why? Not only is this charming Zimbabwean always keen to try our latest specials, but he’s also been a regular campaigner for #meatlessmay, #moussakamonday and of course, #eatclean.

We caught up with Ian to ask him a few questions about his time as a Pure Good Customer. Enjoy!

Hey Ian, so how long have you been a Pure Good Customer for?

I’ve been a Pure Good customer for over two years, and have always been pleased with the quality of their foodstuffs, smoothies and juices.

Can you describe Pure Good in a song lyric?
Hot and fresh out the kitchen. Mama rollin’ that body, got every man in here wishin’

Which Pure Good Breakfast is your favourite way to start your day?
I often go off-menu for spinach, poached eggs and avocado – a delicious and healthy start to the day. When I’m really hungry though, the Stack is always a winner!

Do you like to ever wash it down with a fresh Pure Good juice?
I don’t often have juices, so when I do I mix it up (pun fully intended).

What rad ingredient do you now eat because of Pure Good?
I eat a lot more spinach than I used to, that’s for sure…

When lunchtime rolls around what are you generally eating with the gang?
If I’m not having one of the weekly specials, the Roastmaster salad is always a good time.

When you’re feeling like you wanna treat yo’self, what’s your guilty pleasure menu item?
When it’s available, the flapjack special!

We know most of our customers love a good snack, which is your go-to?
Biltong, hands down!

How have your daily habits been influenced since you started eating at Pure Good?
I eat healthier and at more regular times than I did before. Having a cafeteria at work also gives everyone the opportunity to spend time together over lunch and catch up, which is priceless.

Final question, what three words would you use to describe Pure Good?
Lean, green, yaaaaaasQueen.

Thanks Ian!
